February 5, 2026

Huntington Beach, Calif. -- Today, Gracey Van Der Mark announced the endorsement of the Association of Orange County Deputy Sheriffs (AOCDS) in her campaign for the 72nd Assembly District. In support of Van Der Mark, AOCDS President Juan Viramontes stated, “The Association of Orange County Deputy Sheriffs is pleased to endorse Gracey Van Der Mark for State Assembly this coming June and November 2026. Gracey is a proven leader in her community who prioritizes the safety of our communities and understands the critical needs of law enforcement and small bu. As well as small business. Voters can trust she will continue to be an advocate for public safety and all in Sacramento at a time when they need the experience and collaboration the most.”

“I’m honored to be the endorsed voice for law enforcement in this election,” said Gracey Van Der Mark in response to the announcement. “I have always been, and will always be, a supporter of law enforcement. With so many new challenges facing law enforcement in California, it is more important now than ever that they have a voice standing up for them in the California Legislature. I am proud to be that voice.”
